The Board of Directors of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers hereby resolves as follows:
WHEREAS, NACDL's Long Range Plan commits the Association to making CLE programs more available to lawyers who cannot attend our seminars (Goal 5.D); and
WHEREAS, developing internet technology offers a potential means through which NACDL can deliver CLE;
NOW THEREFORE, the Board authorizes the Executive Committee to negotiate and enter a contract to provide such services, and requests that the Executive Committee accomplish this task by the end of 2000.
The Board requests that the President appoint a committee of Board members and officers to explore available internet technology vendors and to make a recommendation to the Executive Committee.
And further, that each speaker at an NACDL CLE may decline to permit his or her presentation to be available on the internet.
