Letter to Sec England on Detainee Statements in Administrative Review Proceedings (August 2004)

Now that Administrative Review proceedings have begun for suspected enemy combatants at Guantanamo Bay, I am taking the liberty of writing you again to share the concerns of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) regarding certain coercive interrogation techniques that have been employed against detainees in Afghanistan and at Camps X-Ray and Delta.
