Washington, DC (Aug. 22, 2016) – Kristina W. Supler of Cleveland, OH, was elected to the Board of Directors for the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) at the Association's 59th annual meeting in Palm Beach, FL, on August 13.
Supler is currently a trial attorney at McCarthy, Lebit, Crystal & Liffman Co., L.P.A. in Cleveland, OH, where she practices criminal defense. She has worked on a wide variety of criminal cases throughout her career, in both state and federal venues, but often focuses on defending clients charged with computer and technology-related offenses. Supler also has extensive experience representing students facing Title IX investigations and academic disciplinary proceedings.
She has been an active member of NACDL since 2006, serving on the Champion Advisory Board, White Collar Crime Committee, and Indigent Defense Committee. She is also very involved in the Amicus Committee as a Sixth Circuit Vice-Chair. In addition to the years of service she has devoted to NACDL, Supler has also long been committed to the legal community in her home state of Ohio. She is a member of the Cleveland-Marshall Law Alumni Association Board of Trustees, where she mentors first-year law students. She has also volunteered with the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association's 3Rs (Rights, Responsibilities and Realities) Program, which connects lawyers with underprivileged high school students as they prepare to complete the Ohio Graduation Test. Kristina has been recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Star.
Supler completed her B.A. at Boston University and attended Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
