Washington, DC (September 11, 2015) – Moorestown, NJ, attorney Daniella Gordon was elected to the Board of Directors of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) at the Association's 58th annual meeting in Denver, CO on July 26. She is also a member of the White Collar Committee and the Fourth Amendment Committee. Ms. Gordon is the principal of her own law firm, The Gordon Law Firm, where the majority of her practice is focused on criminal defense—both white collar and street crime. The remainder of her practice focuses on commercial business disputes, largely in the area of construction litigation and business or procurement fraud. Ms. Gordon also represents numerous clients on a pro bono basis.
Most recently, Ms. Gordon obtained an acquittal after defending an individual who was accused of theft from a business partnership. She also very recently obtained a full dismissal of a Title IX complaint and related action against a law school student who was accused of sexual and other misconduct at a large university. Ms. Gordon enjoys defending a wide range of clients and cases—from large businesses to indigent individuals; from criminal defense litigation to parallel proceedings.
In addition to her law practice, Ms. Gordon currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Construction Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association. She is also currently Chair of the Legal Redress and Criminal Justice Committees of the Southern Burlington County NAACP.
Ms. Gordon graduated from Connecticut College in 2001 with a major in Philosophy, and she earned her J.D. from the Rutgers University School of Law-Camden in 2005. She clerked for the Honorable Robert G. Millenky, who currently sits as presiding judge in the civil division in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Camden County.
