Roles and Responsibilities
On February 14, 2020, the Board of Trustees for the NFCJ voted to adopt the official Roles and Responsibilities of each Trustee.

Nominations Procedures
As part of a strategic planning process, the NFCJ Board of Trustees now accepts non-NACDL members as trustees. A formal nominations process was proposed and adopted on February 14, 2020.

Gift Acceptance Policy
On February 14, 2020, the Board of Trustees of the NFCJ approved a formal Gift Acceptance Policy. Any gifts outside of this policy must be reviewed, and approved, by the Trustees prior to acceptance.
Donor Bill of Rights
On February 14, 2020, the Board of Trustees of the NFCJ reviewed and adopted a Donor Bill of Rights. This Donor Bill of Rights was created by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP), the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), and the Giving Institute: Leading Consultants to Non-Profits. Rights and permissions to post this document was granted by the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
