NACDL members from voting membership types will be eligible to vote between July 25 and July 29. Voting members will receive invitations to vote by email beginning at 9:00 am Eastern Time on July 25. You will only be able to vote via the unique link on the bottom of this email.
Who is on the ballot?
The only contested election is for the Board of Directors. The candidates for officer positions who were nominated by the Nominating Committee will be deemed elected by acclamation at the Annual Membership Meeting on August 13.

How to vote
Voting members will receive invitations to vote by email beginning at 9:00 am Eastern Time on July 25.
You will only be able to vote via the unique link on the bottom of this email.
When the window opens, voting members will receive an email to their primary NACDL email address from NACDL Elections (elections@nacdl.org) with a unique link to take voters to their ballot. Do not forward or delete this email, as the link is unique. It cannot be recovered or reset, and once the link unique to your account is used and your vote is confirmed, you will not be able to vote again.
Click the link in the voting invitation that reads "Start Voting >>". From there, cast your vote and click submit. You will then need to confirm your vote before it is counted.
Confirming your vote
Your vote will not be counted until you confirm it. After you submit your vote, you will receive a separate email sent to the same email address at which you received the invitation to vote with a link to confirm your vote. You must confirm your vote for it to be counted.
Once your vote is confirmed, you will receive a final email thanking you for confirming your vote. This email means that your vote is recorded.

I didn't get an email
If you did not receive an email inviting you to vote, please do the following:
- Check any other mailboxes that you may have on file with NACDL. By default, the invitation will be sent to your primary NACDL email address, i.e., the address you use to log in to NACDL.org. However, please check any other email addresses you have on file with NACDL if you do not receive an invitation at your primary email address. You can review the email addresses you have on file at your Member Profile.

- Check to confirm that the above domains and IP addresses listed above are whitelisted
- Contact NACDL at elections@nacdl.org for support
